Derek Laughlin is a freelance photographer and graphic artist living in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He earned his BFA while studying dance, music, design, photography and more at the University of Iowa. Since earning his degree, he has established his own photography business, Laughlin Studio, which can handle everything from a wedding to zombie portraits to live theater.

Whether its up-close shots of individual items presented at the show or panoramic photos that capture the scope of an entire event in a single picture, there is no aspect of photographing an art & craft fair that Derek can't handle.

On September 29th, 2018, Brew City Crafters donated half of all admission fees from our First Annual Harvest Fest event to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. This resulted in a contribution of $1,423 to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
Since Make-a-Wish Wisconsin's founding in 1984, more than 6,000 children and their families throughout the state have experienced the transformative power of a wish. Make-A-Wish serves a unique and vital role in helping strengthen and empower children battling critical illnesses.
On July 14th, 2018, Brew City Crafters LLC hosted a school supply drive at our HandMade in the Shade event which helped ensure that children in Milwaukee County will be able to attend their first day of school with the supplies they need.
Later in 2018, Brew City Crafters LLC and The Salvation Army of Milwaukee Cold Spring teamed up for our first Custom Kettle Art event. Ten local artists created custom kettle designs based on the theme "light of the world". These kettles will be featured at prominent events in Southeastern Wisconsin throughout the 2018 holiday season.
The Salvation Army marched into the United States in 1880 and established the Milwaukee mission in 1889. Since then, they have committed to meeting the basic needs of individuals in crisis. Their goal is to provide assistance quickly and compassionately through their Community Assistance programs in Milwaukee.
On December 16th, 2017, Brew City Crafters LLC teamed up with our vendors and collectively donated hundreds of toys and games to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's annual Toy Drive during our Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair.
Children's Hospital of Wisconsin has been a part of the community dating back to 1894 and is consistently ranked among the top in the nation's pediatric hospitals. They are partnered with the community by offering health education classes as well as hospital-based child and family counseling programs.
On March 3rd, 2018, vendors participating in the First Annual Spring Fling event in Milwaukee as well as Brew City Crafters LLC teamed up to collectively donate hundreds of pet products & supplies to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
On May 11th and 12th of 2019, Brew City Crafters LLC will be donating half of all collected admission fees to the Wisconsin Humane Society from our Second Annual Spring Fling event held in Washington County.
Founded in 1879, the Wisconsin Humane Society has been saving the lives of animals in need for nearly 140 years. Currently, WHS annually serves 40,000 animals and offers a variety of services including adoption, spay/neuter, pet food bank and dog training in addition to offering numerous specialty programs.
On March 23rd, 2019, Brew City Crafters LLC will head north to Manitowoc for the First Annual Manty Makers Market. A portion of every booth fee will be donated to the Manitowoc County Historical Society.
Established in 1906, the Manitowoc County Historical Society conducts woodworking & blacksmithing courses, restores historical structures, hosts interactive learning experiences as well as working with the community to preserve the history of the state of Wisconsin.
On November 23rd & 24th of 2019, Brew City Crafters will be donating half of all collected admission fees from our First Annual Mad City Holiday Bazaar event to the Alzheimer's Association in memory & honor of loved ones very near and dear to us as well as everyone affected by Alzheimer's or dementia.
Currently, over 110,000 people in Wisconsin are living with Alzheimer's or dementia, and more than 194,000 people care for loved ones with the disease. The focus of the Alzheimer's Association is to provide access to healthcare; access to receiving a diagnosis; and access to services and resources to all affected by Alzheimer's and related dementias.
